What does it take to be an ICT student?

Few weeks to go, we will leave this school that accommodated and accepted us. In this 4 years of staying, it is still worth it because every single day makes our high school life memorable.

And as one of the ICT students of ISNHS, I would like to take this opportunity to thank our teacher, Mrs. Evelyn Vera Cruz for teaching us those lessons that really helped us to widen our knowledge. It is a fact that those different tags really coiled up my mind, despite of the difficulties I admit that it helped me a lot. Another thing is the world of Photoshop, it made me so happy because I love photo editing. But then there’s a feeling of awkwardness, so I need to explore it furthermore.
I admire those students who can make awesome outputs, it made me so envious because of those things that they’ve done. It is a great challenge for me to make one of those beautiful outputs like them.

I’m very thankful to those people that I mingle with, teachers that taught us. May our success,  be your success too.

My Dream, My Future

Feel free and explore the world beyond our comfort zones. There are so many things that I want to reach in the future. Dreams that I want to became real and plan to be successful.

A girl named Joan Pauline Pimentel has the dream to become an accountant someday and if God permits I would also like to manage my own bank as well. This is one of the things that I really dream of. A dream that is really hard to achieve, but I will not get lose from this hindrance. Instead I will make use of this challenge as my inspiration to pursue my dreams. And I know with all my hard work, perseverance and dedication, I can make it. And for those people who will always be there for me. I’ll offer this to you.

Have FAITH in GOD, surely He will always guide us in our way.

Kannawidan Ylocos Festival

The Kannawidan Ylocos Festival on January 29 to February 5, 2012 drew local and foreign tourists as more entertaining events had been included in the celebrations.

Through this Kannawidan Ylocos Festival, we are preserving and sustaining our old traditions, attractive products and practices as we are also promoting our tourism industry.

Our province has a rich heritage and unique cultures that need to be preserved for the next generations. However, many of these traditions, songs, dances and other Ilocano cultures were not already familiar to the younger generations due to the influence of the television, computer and internet.

But, through our Kannawidan Ylocos Festival, these traditions, customs and cultures are revived to become more entertaining to give more fun and attractions to the visiting tourists in the province.  As an official annual festival of the province our tourism industry was enhanced and helped boost the demand of our products, more job opportunities and livelihood opportunities were crated and more income for our people were generated.
